What Even Was 2020?

Ok, I know it’s not over yet, but what even was 2020?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on it. Contrary to popular opinion, 2020 wasn’t actually horrific for me. I know that a lot of people were negatively impacted by Covid-19 to varying degrees and I’m definitely not shitting all over their experiences, but I can’t say that I’m personally hateful towards this year. I still just can’t wrap my head around everything that happened and how quickly it has flown by!

You’ll be pleased to learn that I haven’t, in fact, disappeared off the face of the Earth. I’ve just recently been consumed by my bi-annual hiatus from this blog. You know how it goes. I’m the worst. We’re all well aware of this by now.

So, after an extended (and much needed) break, your friendly neighbourhood Kates is back, and you’d damn well better be #praying for her.
